We are excited to announce that on Saturday afternoon we will be screening our new film ‘Kenneth Tyler: the art of collaboration’ at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra!
The film documents Kenneth Tyler’s life and work from childhood, through his training to become a master printer at Tamarind, and looks in depth at the innovation and collaboration at his workshops over four decades.
The film was produced by CantoMedia and features a host of enlightening new interviews from: Judith Goldman, Print Curator and Art Critic; Adam D. Weinberg, Alice Pratt Brown Director, Whitney Museum of American Art; Jack Flam, Director Dedalus Foundation; Garo Antreasian, artist, master printer, and Technical Director, Tamarind Lithography Workshop; John Wagner, CEO, Associate Director Tyler Graphics Ltd.; and the late master printer John Hutcheson, Workshop Manager, Tyler Graphics Ltd.
Before the film Senior Curator Jane Kinsman will be giving an overview of the exhibition Frank Stella: The Kenneth Tyler Print Collection
